Tuning Up

Most harpists are familiar with tuning. It’s constant. This isn’t about the harp though.  It’s about you and me today. About those things that make you stop, listen and tune up. I’m tuning my heartstrings to the sound of a children’s choir. Ever since I was young, as you’ve read from my introductions, I loved choir. As an adult I loved choir. Now that I have children, there is even more reason to continue the music. Most importantly, I want children, my children, to experience making music among friends. So I’m starting a choir-two actually. Check out the details.

It’s hard to get started. From experience, it’s probably going to be a little off key at first. Maybe literally, maybe figuratively. Yet tune we do; yet play we do. Never stop tuning and listening. Never stop speaking with heart, harp and voice. Or whatever it is you have that makes your soul sing.
